Words of grape
Javier Sanz's family has four generations of wine growers. Augustin Nanclares, his great grandfather, started this tradition.
Agustín Nanclares made wine from the grapes grown in their Villa Narcisa estate. Knowledge and know-how are key assets of this winery together with a great care during the whole wine making process.
The family has maintained this growing tradition over the years. In 1995 the brand names Villa Narcisa and Rey Santo were registered for trading purposes. Villa Narcisa is our premium brand nowadays.
A modern winery and 104 hectares of our own vineyards is our wine´s soul. We still have a traditional relationship between the grower and the vine. Working the vineyard with great care as we have done all these years.
Nowadays we use all modern technology during the winemaking process, in order to preserve all of the grape’s qualities as Javier Sanz believes quality should come first.
Every year we do some testing, and try to come up with something different from just classic white wine. Javier Sanz´s Verdejo is racy and elegant, word of grape.
