Javier Sanz Viticultor is part of the Appellation Rueda.
Rueda is the oldest Appellation in the Castilla y León Region.
Wines under this Appellation are high quality wines. This region producced mainly white wines coming from different varieties.
The Verdejo variety is native to this area and makes our wines distinguished from other varietal wines.
Being part of the Appellation Rueda is synonym to Quality and tradition.

The Appellation of Origin Rueda possesses exceptional natural resources for the production of top-quality wines. Specialised in making internationally renowned white wines. Also, from the 5 of August of 2008 the red wines and rosé are protected by the Appellation of Origin Rueda.

The different grape varieties grown here are irregularly scattered over the several municipal districts comprising Rueda Appellation of Origin. However, it is the area found within the boundaries of La Seca, Rueda and Serrada where vineyards are in a higher proportion and greater intensity.

Extensive replanting of the area's native grapes, in particular Verdejo, has led to a new generation of fresh, young, very fruity wines that are now beginning to be aged.
